ABOUT ME

I am a person that thrives on change. I love seeing new places and meeting new people. It is my opinion that through traveling people discover and come closer to becoming the people they want to be. For this reason, I love putting myself in new situations.

I absolutely love laughing. I choose to be an optimist and see the best in everyone. I choose to believe in the power of good and seek to use my life to help make the world a better place. I love medicine, and eventually I plan to attend medical school. I just recently moved to Denver to teach math with Teach For America. My students are awesome, and I already love them.

PHILOSOPHY

My relationships with others, family, friends, etc., are the most important aspects of my life. I would do anything for any one of them. Life is short, and I believe in living life to the fullest. I am a dreamer; very idealistic and, at times, naive. I choose to have faith in humanity and think positively. Above all, I choose to be happy.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close just became my favorite book, followed closely by The Alchemist and The Little Prince. Other favorites include: The Immortal Life of Henriette Lacks. The Great Gatsby. This Side of Paradise. Eat, Pray, Love. Committed. A Thousand Splendid Suns. The Kite Runner.The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. All the King's Men.

I adore languages and am open to learn any. Specifically I am interested in learning: Portuguese, Italian, French, Chinese, Korean, German.

I studied Biology and Chemistry, with a smattering of pre-medical courses. I also teach math.
