Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this. I usually stay in hostels when I travel so that I can meet others, because I do a decent amount of traveling solo, but I wanted to get involved with couchsurfing because of the opportunity to meet locals and get their recommendations and see their city through their eyes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of movies, music, and books. My favorite books/authors are Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, The Harry Potter books (I know, but they're good), David Sedaris, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, etc.
My favorite movies are pretty much anything by the Coen Brothers or Wes Anderson. I also really liked the Hangover and Inglorious Bastards. As for music, I listen to jam, bluegrass, rock, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled solo around Alaska for 4 months. I loved it. It was a perfect opportunity to center myself, decide who I was, where I wanted to go, and what was important to me.
