About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find more lindt chocolates and eat them.

ABOUT ME

Meeee?
Friendly but a bit shy when meeting new people.
Silly, adventurous, creative....

I'm 26 and a new Zealander born and bred. I have completed a bachelors degree in visual art then, not knowing quite what to do with myself, spent another two years doing my postgrad and masters. I then lived a year in Korea teaching english. Since then I have been living in Quebec city the past 10 months with my boyfriend and have very much enjoyed my time here, but it is time to go home to NZ to do more study!

PHILOSOPHY

The truth is relative.
You only get out what you put in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had two fabulous hosts in NY, who were very considerate and hospitable I only hope I can have more experiences like that and offer the same to others.

Music, Movies, and Books

Life of Pi/ The History of Love/ Short stories by Tolstoy, Katherine Mansfield.
The cure, the smiths, indie rock in general but I like almost all music though I draw the line a Sinea Twain.
Hitch hiker's guide to the Gallaxy, Rocky horror picture show, Sean of the Dead, My fair Lady, Somethings gotta give, Trainspotting, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On holiday in the Philippines I got off the bus with a complete stranger, cralled down into a snake filled cave to see bats and survived a typhoon, could be the best week of my life!
But I hope that is still ahead of me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really like the idea of couchsurfing as a way to counteract the growing paranoia in contemporary society. I think most people out there are good people and through a bit of trust and goodwill I hope we can really aid inter-cultural co-operation.
