ABOUT ME

We are Bex, Brad & Kaiya, a family of three who love being social, the outdoors, and good food. We live the simple good life on the beaches of Sydney but have a travel bug that we love feeding. 2014 was our first family journey overseas for 7 months. It was back on 'the road' again for old travel mates Bex & Brad, and the best education we can think of for 5-year-old Kaiya before she started school.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would love to cook for you at your home, share stories and learn about each others cultures. And when we get back to AUS and get a bigger place, we'll definitely host you on our couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We couchsurfed throughout Greece and Turkey for a month each, and also a bit in Mexico and the USA. We had such wonderful experiences with our hosts and look forward to being hosts ourselves when we get our own place again.

Intereses

Holistic health, all types of music, books and movies, cooking and eating, the beach, the lake, camping, getting together with friends, barbeques, farmer's markets, deep conversations, spiritual curiosity, four-hour-work-week, life-hacking, culture, being silly, basking in the sun, making new friends. Brad loves surfing (especially body boarding) and Bex and Kaiya love dancing!

Música, películas y libros

Comedies and drama movies (plus Mary Poppins & Sound of Music!). Most music from heavy metal to electronica, pop, rock and reggae to meditative, latin and acoustic. Books of all kinds, from inspirational and health books to travel memoirs and rock music autobiographies (plus Kaiya loves all sorts of books too!).

We used to have a travel website that allowed us to have many incredible experiences around the world. It was long before blogs, social media and cheap websites,so we offered free 'advertisement' of accommodations and tourist activities in exchange for getting to stay there or experience it. We never imagined it would give us such an amazing year of cheap travel and memories.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

We are holistic health coaches so are happy to teach you a bit about nutrition, exercise and healthy lifestyle choices if you like. But don't worry, we never preach to those who don't inquire. :)

Bex can also teach some cooking skills, Brad can teach some guitar (if you have one), and Kaiya has some great yoga and dance moves to share.

We have a lot of knowledge to share about the many places we've traveled to, food, music, spirituality, and life-hacking (we're working on living the 4-hour-work-week).
