ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Bex and currently living in London as a student.
I love meeting new people and exploring places around the world learning about their culture.
I love languages and am interested in improving my French and little knowledge of Russian!
I'm full of energy and always on the top of the world ready to explore new places.
I'm open minded and excited to try new things. (FOOD!)
I'm a practising vegan and full-time vegetarian, I like to think i'm involved in the 'ethics' of the food industry, but I honestly don't mind what you're eating and will never push my beliefs on you (although would be happy to debate the subject!).
I have previously lived in Paris for a year, survived Russia for a week as well and lived in San Diego for 6 months and London for 2 years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A weekend in Strasbourg, France: Was incredible to meet new people who knew the area and were accommodating. I was slightly worried at first as I had never heard of this site before but such a great experience I'd love to try again.

A weekend in Brussels, Belgium: Met our lovely host and her room mates who were all very friendly and accommodating! We explored most of the centre of Brussels, ate too many fries with tartar sauce and WAY too much chocolate!
Amazing experience!

A few days in Paris, France: My German friend Lea and I stayed with the amazing Alexandre and his girlfriend in their beautiful apartment. They were so lovely and hospitable and unfortunately it was during the recent attacks, but they still were accommodating and maintained their charming disposition.

Interests

Music's an important part of my life as well as performing, photography and writing and THEATRE!
I study Film Studies at King's College London and so film nights are plentiful!
Learning Languages and about cultures.
I'm pioneering for human rights little by little.
I love yoga but go through phases of actually practicing due to time constraints.
Right now I'm trying to learn how to perfect vegan (and sometimes gluten free) baking- which is a challenge but so exciting when you get something right.

I love films, I love music, I love most books I've ever finished! My go to films are either Disney or Mindbenders (a bit of a contrast...!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived Russia with limited words! Such an amazing, beautiful country- and had a monkey put on my shoulders.

Recently had the pleasure of interviewing Robert De Niro, Anne Hathaway and Nancy Meyers for their new film.

Studying abroad in San Diego for 6 months and meeting some amazing people.

What I Can Share with Hosts
