Global nomad who is journeying within...

PHILOSOPHY

I€™ve read too many over-intellectualised books by great philosophers to know that any particular philosophy will get me closer to truth, let alone bring me happiness. I€™ve also was left unfulfilled by living a mindless life... and that has led me to seek meaning beyond that which my conditioned mind can fathom.

Any way of living that I choose will lose its essence once defined so I follow a path without the necessity of naming or labelling. I would say that it involves smiling at random people on the street, always being open for a hug and trying to raise my consciousness so I can appreciate the beauty of being alive, moment by moment, every passing moment.

I believe in paradox, in mysticism and that laughter is the best meditation we can all practice without getting bogged down in dogma. As James Barrie said Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves. Let there be light!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So many special moments shared. So much kindness, fun and laughter. The best couchsurfing experiences Ive had were not on couchsurfing but where locals just invited me into their homes... Iranians in particular blew me away with their hospitality and generosity.

Couchsurfing has made my daily life a richer experience. Ive been able to connect with awesome travellers as well as fellow couchsurfers here in Munich. Ive met people I wouldnt normally meet from bodypainters to web-entrepreneurs. And Im so so grateful for the life-long friendships that have come from hosting and surfing.
