PHILOSOPHY

God is love and we should love ... and be alive. The most precious asset we have is our time - we can turn it into anything and it never comes back. The best way to spend it is by sharing - giving to and receiving from others. Love. Faith. Small talk. Smile. Warmth. Good meal. Stories. Sunrise. Everything we have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting, visiting, spreading the word about CS and the values of our community around the world. I believe sharing is the way we express who we are and how we love and are being loved.
Also, I'm living with my old mother - a nice and curious old lady who loves cooking, opera, history, theatre and travel before she got ill in 2017. Spending some time with her and making her smile is something, which melts my heart. If you can do something kind for her I'll love you forever! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailing and swimming while plankton (sp? - millions of microscopic animals which live in the sea/ocean, whales and other sea life forms eat them) was blinking in the summer - like you're flying among the stars; did a cliff diving from 11 meters with the head down, watched an eagle flying over a huge cloud, colored by the sun, visited Grand Canyon...

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to teach and learn, to share how to live, to love and be loved (in the purest sense of the word).
Sharing is everything and even more important than giving or taking, I believe. Food, moments, laughter, stories, experience, fairy tales... This way we will live longer and better, at least as much as we share. Or twice more. Or thrice. Or more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My past, presence and future (for the time we stay together and after that - one of my best friends I met this way more than 10 yrs ago) - would love to share stories, to cook together, to listen to your stories with understanding and would love to share time in different activities together - from going to a charity event to building a barbecue together ;)
