ABOUT ME

We are a Young Canadian couple who is passionate about travelling. We love learning about new cultures, meeting new people, and makng great memories. We have done quite a bit of travelling, and would like to continue to see the world. We would like to help others see the world as we have had many great opportunities. We look forward to hosting others and also being hosted. We have made many friends while travelling, and this is one of our favorite things about travelling.
We live in Krakow Poland during the school year, and return back to Canada for the summers.
Our plan is to live in Poland for the next four years, as my fiancee Cody completes medical school here, after that, who knows where our life will take us, but I am sure it will be to some pretty cool places :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would love to help others whether we are in Canada or here at our current home in Krakow, Poland.
We have an awsome place right in the centre of Krakow, walking distance to everything!
Also in Canada, we have to houses to host in, one being on a beautiful river, where my fiancees family owns a lazy river tubing business. Its a fun place to be in the summer!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Both surfing and hosting have been great. We have made many lasting friendships because of couch surfing. As surfers we have been shown some great local attractions we never would have been able to find on our own. As hosts, we love to try to give a local experience and share some secret places where you can get the best pierogi. Overall, the best way to travel and wish we would have started it sooner!

音乐、电影和书籍

Barb likes funny easy reading books about fashion and adventure (i.e. Shopaholic) and Cody likes to read fantasy (favourite series - Wheel of Time). As far as books and movies, it totally depends on our mood at the time. Anything goes if the timing is right.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

scuba dived in the Indian ocean, the red sea, Atlantic, and the Gulf of Thailand.

Climbed Mt Batur in Bali and Mt Sinai in Egypt at dawn and then watched the sunrise.

Travelled across India, hands down, the most exciting and unique country we have been too.

The most amazing experience to date is our recent move to Europe, love this continent, and want to see more and learn more about it in the next 4 years!!!
