To ride as many roller coasters as I can and go to as many waterparks as I can; to meet other people along the way who share my love of life.

ABOUT ME

I currently live alone in my single family home in rural central Virginia. I love spending time outdoors hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, camping, etc. I'm really laid back, maybe even a little reserved until I get to know you a little. I'm up for just about anything when it comes to having fun.

My biggest social activities these days include playing sax in jazz and concert bands in the Charlottesville area, and contra dancing both near and far. I have gone to dance events large and small in at least 15 states.

Some of my other interests include riding roller coasters, going to waterparks, going to the beach when I can, keeping close with family and friends back home on Long Island. I have been known to take my younger family members to faraway theme parks and had the grandest time away from home for a week or more.

I would love to travel overseas sometime soon ... all in good time, probably with CS figuring into it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My initial experience with CS was a "Surfing" trip arranged through a friend who was already on CS. Prior to getting involved with CS I had done some "surfing" with fellow contra dancers in faraway places and I always enjoy meeting new people this way. One of my fondest memories is of our CS hostess in PA enjoying our visit so much that she took a group picture of us, friended me on Facebook, etc. I would love to offer my couch one day after my house re-model is done!
