About Me

Hello !! Bharath here ..born and brought up in a small town in one of the beautiful places in my country.."Goa" which I believe is a must for any traveller...worked in cosmopolitan cities, which broadened the picture i had in my head of the world and its people...The more interesting things are in the next section.. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The frequent pangs of dissapointment I feel whn i think about "not having seen places" and the desire to learn certain universal truths (which i definitely know exist) brought me here... I havent travelled much, but I surely know travel has always changed sum small thing about me everytime ive hit the road...makes the otherwise serious things look silly..I would love to travel more and more importantly feel like a "traveller" and a not a "tourist" whilst doing it..and keep it as cheap as possible ofcourse :P

Interests

Music (I play the tabla and the guitar), Photography (i regularly click with my phone, u cn chk my instragram profile "iyerbharath"..) and own a DSLR Nikon D3200....learning and growing steadily..

Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Its nothing much but these are the things that come to my mind...
1) Travelled 800 kms sitting at the door of a train, without a ticket, enjoying a bottle of Tequila with a friend :P
2) Slept in a park overnight coz i was too tired and too lazy to go looking for a bus.
3) An overnight camp at the top of the "Dudhsagar" waterfalls in Goa..
