Hello kia ora, I am Bharat Vardani. I came very recently to Auckland to pursue my doctorate degree. I love nature and like to see as many places as possible and this is a good platform where I can help other travellers while they are visiting me Or i can seek help from hosts when I am travelling.

I was born and raised in Jaipur, a capital city of Rajasthan (one of the states in India) and have explored india from Nagaland (north east part of india) to Himachal (north part of India) to Tamil Nadu, Kerala (south part of India). I have stayed at these places and have seen a lot of diversity. I got a chance to explore New Zealand and I don't want to miss this beautiful opportunity.

My routine is sometimes hectic because of not getting results in my research studies and exploring new places and going out in nature reduces that stress and anxiety, so i make sure that i walk once at least to some places (10-15 km, mostly in Auckland city, for 2-3 hours) to regain my energy which make it's qualitative for my research. I love cooking as well and love to make and enjoy indian vegetarian food. I would love to host someone and offer food.

I believe in karma. I want this community to grow more so that people like me who are students and new to the country can enjoy the beauty of nature and not restrict themselves because of financial issues. Getting accommodation is costly here and one of the main reasons for me and maybe others are covering new places by spending less. As a part of this community, I will be extremely happy to host someone who would like to visit auckland Or wanted to stay during their journey.

I am new to CS and would like to see a lot of people using this app casual for travelling. The main motive of me on the app is to make travelling pleasant, cost-effective and full of memories. Staying in hotels and talking to no one will be costly and no interactions with people is a boring concept for me.

I am very active sometimes and would go hiking and walking and will cover as many places as possible. But other times, I am also very much engaged in my Laptop and watching Netflix series and enjoying food on the weekend is what I love to do.

I can offer a private couch as my flatmate is usually out of the city (a week in 30 days). You will be sleeping in my room, if I am not in the city or in my flatmate room, if he is not in the city. I can also offer food and can help you in the plans, although I am new here and haven't seen much of NZ but can help you in plan with the help of google and friends.
