About Me

A freelance programmer who likes to travel around and eat all kinds of food (that's a cliche, who doesn't!). I love learning new things, and although I am more focused on things related to computer science, I wish I could have more time to learn everything else as well, like theoretical physics, or being a motorcycle mechanic.

I read a lot and I love going on rides during the weekends. I am a no-frills traveler. All I need when I am traveling is a basic roof (a tent or a cave is okay) to sleep under, and preferably, a good cup of tea. Enjoying someone's hospitality, even if I pay for it, is something I consider a privilege.

During traveling, I like to talk to all the people I come in contact with and I generally enjoy taking a walk through unknown places. I run around on trails and I sometimes shout like Tarzan when I am alone in a jungle. I also go on motorcycle rides quite frequently and I enjoy the solitude it provides.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Matrix, Lord Of The Rings trilogy, The Godfather and a lot more.

Books: I read quite a few books and it's generally hard to put just a few in a list. But let me try to put a *sample* here: Harry Potter, Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, One Hundred Years Of Solitude, Thinking Fast and Slow, The Selfish Gene, Advanced programming in the Unix environment...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught programming to quite a few people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can talk for hours about books, health, programming, movies, philosophy (the real kind, not the abstract/useless kind where they discuss things like "what does knowledge mean?").

Countries I’ve Lived In

India
