ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and experiencing other cultures. I like to go out and have fun, but I work hard too. I have been a nurse for a few years now, so that means I have a variety of crazy stories to share, if you so desire. I love to do spontaneous things, try me. I rode horseback across the state of Michigan, seriously, from shore to shore and went trail riding in several other states as well. Vacation with my horses, yeah I'm a dork ha.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I found this site while trying to book hostels for my trip to Europe in the summer of 2007. I joined to try to find cool people to meet and couches to crash on. Since then, I have participated in many CS gathings and have met some of the most wonderful people. While I never tire of meeting new people, I have returned the hospitality and have offered my couch in the past. Due to my current roommate situation, my couch is not available at this time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed in Zürich, Amsterdam, and Chicago. It gave me a completely different perspective to see the cities from the viewpoint of those who inhabit them and I have provided my couch to those in need.

Interests

I'm an outdoorsy person and I rarely let the weather change my plans. Let's just say I have a good raincoat. Snowboarding keeps me busy in the winter and in the summer I ride. I like to go camping and hike as well. I love to go to concerts and, like everybody else on this site, meet new people and travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spring of 07- Drove from Michigan to Alaska.
Summer of 07- Rode across Michigan on a horse.
Now: I am currently raising a foal for the first time: Ollie, and he is adorable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taken many of my friends horseback riding for the first time and I gladly share my knowledge with anyone who is interested.
