Music, Movies, and Books

I’m really into indie and folk music; I basically file my life memories by song or artist, which my friends find hilarious because it’s apparently not how their brains work at all. I’m always happy to swap playlists and discover what you listen to.

Right now I’m reading The Unsettling of America by Wendell Berry, and I’m fascinated by his arguments about agriculture, land, and the ecological crisis. I love books that make me question how our societies are organized and how we relate to the earth.

I don’t like to watch movies unless it’s with friends :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied at a school where British royalty and Afghan refugees sat in the same class and engaged in geopolitical debates.

I went on a canoe expedition to off‑grid Indigenous communities in Canada.

Danced barefoot 😝 at the hippie festival in Estonia. Vilijandi Folk Music Festival!

I’m happy to help with English practice, and show you some of my photography! I can also give you book recommendations as I loveee to read. I can tell you of my experience of growing up as a third culture kid.
