Overview
About Me
Peripatetic by nature, the wind blows in all directions of the compass, and I find myself at the end of its soaring talons.
I am a Cancer with an Aries rising, both calm like the sea and passionate as the flame. I've been studying anthropology for a few years on and off, and I have recently decided to take time from it to fulfill the vacancy of experiential knowledge. I learn best by intimate interactions with others and forming bonds that defy distance and time. I travel constantly with a restless feeling that isn't ready to be tamed. I love music, art, literature, writing, and cinema. You could find me recluse to my room reading for hours or on my back beneath the stars at night amidst a seeming nowhere.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find this is the best way for me to meet people afar and form strong allegiances with them. Reciprocation, not in material terms, but of intellect and emotion are of the greatest importance to me. The farther I travel outside of my own origins, the more I have to gain from this life, and I want to share those experiences with others, and perhaps by accident, inspire them.
Interests
Folklore, cinema, photography, sewing, spontaneous travels, meditation, mythology, queer politics, ghost stories, reading, writing a future novel or just gibberish, astronomy, spiritualism, playing piano and tinkering with instruments.

Music, Movies, and Books
Cinema is an open door for me, I will sit and watch anything once as long it interests me. Zulawsky, Bergman, Wheatley, Pasolini, von Trier, Egoyan, many more.
Music is in the same vein, Juana Molina, Nico, Yma Sumac, Broadcast, Soap&Skin, Anja Garbarek, Grace Jones, Laurie Anderson, Dead Can Dance, many more.
I read a lot of ghost stories, and am interested in collecting them. Anthropological dissertations. Haruki Murakami, Clarice Lispector, Olga Tokarczuk, Dion Fortune, many more.
