I was born in South Africa and moved to Australia when I was 8 years old. I've been traveling on and off for the past 6 years- I am almost off on my next trip travelling through Central America. Its my first time to this side of the world

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first time couchsurfing was in Europe and it definitely opened up my eyes to the whole experience. Connecting with locals and really being able to see a place for what it is, was amazing. I haven't been fortunate enough to host any couch surfers yet as most of my time over the last few years has been spent overseas! Oneday when I am all settled down I look forward to being able to host :)

Interests

I am a super chill person who takes interests in the little things. I am happiest when I'm hanging out with friends/meeting new people and getting out in the world. My escape from reality is creating which can be anything from drawing to painting to designing to reading. Obviously I love travelling- the world excites me as theres so much to see and learn. Getting out and exploring new cities and learning about all the different cultures out there is what its all about. I also love to cook/eat out at places I've never been before and red wine/cheese, you can never go wrong :)

My love for music is broad and out there- depends what mood I'm in! I really enjoy going out to gigs.. whether it be to dance or for a band

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my most memorable times was diving with whale sharks in Mexico back in 2012. It was absolutely amazing. We got to go out early before all the tourists came and were diving with about 50 huge whale sharks in beautiful clear water
