Overview
About Me
I'm Bianca, but everyone calls me Bian. I'm a Communications professional in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
My hobbies are acting, reading, cooking (then eating), and watching TV series. I hope someday I can travel enough so that I can call it a hobby.
Things that get me in a good mood: my cat, good-song streaks on the radio, discounts and coupons, opening an assigned reading and finding it's less than 20 pages long.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to know the places I go to rather than just seeing them. I want to live it rather than visit it. I want to discover, I want to let myself be surprised.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: My music taste is Taylor Swift and the likes of that. Sue me. I'll passionately sing along to anything when I'm in the car, though. Pass me the aux when I'm not behind the wheel.
Movies: I don't think it's smiled-upon, but I mostly watch movies following the filmography of actors and actresses rather than directors.
Books: I have a heart for most Latin American, feminist and feminist Latin American literature. I also love reading theatre plays and imagining performance ideas. My guilty pleasure in books is YA novels. They keep pulling me under.
*sigh* How does this not ask about favorite TV shows? Game of Thrones is my favorite of all time. Only followed by RuPaul's Drag Race. I also love Grey's Anatomy, Dr. House, Bones, The Good Wife, Stranger Things, The Crown, and I'll give anything try if you recommend it truthfully.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I went on a building trip with an NGO. A low-income family of four had a little cabin by the end of the weekend.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not a teacher but I can teach ESL and Spanish grammar. I could also teach knitting scarves with two needles.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll make mate. I hear it's some kind of hipster drink in the First World, but back home is what my grandma drinks. Anyway, I'm down for it.
