• I’m a Cantonese American born and raised in New Jersey. I went to university in Ann Arbor and studied abroad in London and then worked in NYC as an Art Director. I have experience building communities, hosting art workshops, facilitating groups, giving talks about passion projects, and producing events/art markets.

• My long term vision is to create my own storyteller residency program to support creative storytellers. I’m passionate about empowering creatives and sharing knowledge. I’d like to learn more about meditation, art education, community building, sustainability and entrepreneurship.

• I am super easy to live with: respectful, clean, quiet, self aware. I would love to hang out, but I am also happy to explore on my own if you're busy.

• I'm empathetic, independent, open-minded, creative, and honest. As an introvert I need my alone time and appreciate silence just as much as I love deep conversations. But I cannot be around high energy people 24/7. 🙈

• I am more of a morning person than a night person. I do not smoke + drink. I prefer to not be around people who smoke, but totally ok with people who drink.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm interested in meeting people from different backgrounds to broaden my perspective. I love talking about art, creative process, food/eating/cooking, spirituality, and psychology. I want to learn from the locals from the places I visit because I trust their judgment more.

During my 3 month solo backpacking trip throughout Japan, I used couch surfing and it changed my perspective about travel and Japanese culture completely. Couch surfing allowed me to personally learn and grow. I love this community!!
