About Me

Hey there and nice that you are looking at my profile :) I am quite new with couch surfing but I love the idea, since I love to meet up with new people and maybe create some friendships or unforgettable memories. You can call me an outgoing person, sometimes a bit with my head in the sky when I am in the nature or listening to music, but furthermore reasonably down to earth. I love food, cooking food, experimenting with food and eating it! I like to eat my food with a wine or a cider next to it, yum. Furthermore, I have an overload of creative ideas and I am always up for going out, having a walk, a nice picknick, hidden party in the forest, a tea, a movie, anything. I am flexible, open-minded and I guess quite easy to hang out with. Basically I am just enjoying life and I would love to learn more about and from other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

New exciting experiences, making memories or even friendships. And I just like to sleep on other peoples couches, floors anything. I feel home quite easily.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love the kind of ethnic deep house music with South-American vibes --> Rodrigo Gallardo & Nicola Cruz. It takes me to another dimension. The same counts for this "Burning Man" kind of music --> Acid Pauli, Monolink, Hraach, etc. Furthermore I like grunch / punk music as well --> Ulrika Spacek. Psy-Trance is also amazing, especially the music from hilight tribe. For a good party, please give me 190 minutes of strangelove from Job Jobse (soundcloud). I have a lot of other good recommendations and I would love to explore more types of music.
Movies: The type of movie that I like depends really on my mood. Some good ones that pop-up now, are "Fear and loating in Las Vegas", Quentin Tarantino movies, The Austin Power movies (hilarious), Papillon, Shutters Island and The Lord of the Rings. A nice horror movie? I am in as well. Regarding series: Breaking Bad & Game of Thrones are amazing.
I like adventurous books, with phylosophical, deeper messages embedded in them. A little bit of science-fiction and magic is great as well. I would like to read more about medicinal plants and mindfulness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I was in Sri Lanka. From one day to another, me and my friend decided to take our stuff from the hostel that we were working in and take the tuk-tuk to this hidden beach that nobody knew about. We made or own tent-kind-off construction, made or own fire, chilled and slept at the beach that night, with the sounds of the waves in our ears. Also climbing Adam's peak at 4 in the morning to watch the sunrise from the top was an amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Dutch (in case you want to know that haha) and how to do a proper handstand. I have some gymnastics background. You can ask me everything about nutrition and health. I am not a dietitian, but I would like to tell you about my studies if you are interested. Some topics I am very interested in are food insecurity in the developing countries and the influence of humans and our society on our climate. I would love to tell you what I know about these topics and don't mind to have a nice discussion about these topics.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A beer? Two beers? A wine perhaps? A nice vegetarian pasta or a falafel wrap with hummus? I am quite open, so I don't mind sharing thoughts, feelings, ideas and my life story. I try not to judge. Of cours we all do in the end, but I try to minimize this as much as possible. Therefore, also feel open to share your thoughts, feelings and ideas with me. I am curious to hear about them :)
