well.... who is good at describing themselves anyway?

I'm currently in New Zealand! :D My best friend and I have decided to go traveling for half a year after I finish my bachelor degree and the time has come :) We're trying to work for a couple of month and then explore the south island and parts of the north island! if you're also in NZ right now and want to get in touch, just message me! :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Curiosity. You never know where you might end up and who you'll meet.

what I can tell you about me + my couchsurfing experience so far is that I've stayed with a couchsurfer once in Amsterdam with two of my friends from university and we had lots of fun - hence I'm here on this website :)

Interests

I love being active and doing sports like going for a run, playing ultimate frisbee, playing tennis, taking a bike tour or hike :) I also love taking photos and also have a analog camera that I hold very dear!

But don't get me wrong not all of my free time is spent outdoors, I also enjoy cozy days at home reading (mostly literary fiction and fantasy, but am open to a variaty of genres...), watching tv shows, going through photos (used to edit them, don't do this anymore that often), I also love playing board games with friends :)

I used to play the guitar but my abilities are quite rusty by now I guess :D I need to refresh my memory on chords...

Music, Movies, and Books

I wanted to list some, but as I was typing I realized: this is too hard! don't make me pick! One of my favorite movies is submarine (dir. richard ayoade) and my favorite directors are: david fincher, nicolas winding refn, david lynch
The range of books I read is broader, I enjoy fantasy a lot but also tend to pick classics from time to time. I really, really loved Atonement by Ian McEwan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to some national tournaments for ultimate frisbee :) these were definitely fun!

Teach, Learn, Share

I always love learnig about new things and trying out stuff. I'm not the biggest fan of adrenaline rushs but am trying to push myself to not miss out on great experiences :)
