I currently live in Leon, Spain where I am doing an European Voluntary Service for 10 months.
I am a very proactive person who loves stepping out of her comfort zone (regardless of how frightening this feels sometimes).
At times I find it hard to keep the balance between my need of having alone-time and the urge to be surrounded by people. I love going out and I'll be up to both, a fun night out and a chill one discussing about whoknowswhat over a glass of wine.
I love nature and old towns and I am a huge fan of long walks to discover the surroundings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I can not host at the moment, I find this platform a great way to meet new, interesting people to share ideas and experiences with. Moreover, I have a strong desire to travel and discover new places and what could be better than doing this through the locals' eyes?

Interests

My main interests gravitate around Public Health, ways for improving communities, volunteering activities, social innovation, and personal development.
I really like photography (both being photographed and taking photos), but I have never seriously pursued this passion. Wherever I go, expect me to take a serious amount of photos to which I constantly go back when needing mood-lifters.
I like to talk about movies, books, theatre, music, travels, articles, and life-experiences.
