About Me

Hi! My name is Bianca, and I'm a 22 year old student from Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany.
As you can see on some other point in my profile, I'm currently trying to reach my post grad in German studies. That means I'm living the student life, aka learning for about one month every semester and spending the rest of the time on working or yeah spending the earned money by traveling around the world.
I'm working at a vegetarian/vegan restaurant in one of the museums we have here in Augburg, and which is really cool - the textile and industry museum.
When I'm not working or traveling, I really like to read cool books (former literature student!!), or go outside and do silly stuff, like eating to much pizza (we got the best pizza in the world here in Augsburg I swear! and I even have a pizza tattoo) or going dancing to techno, electro or indie music.
I'm really really into music, and love going to indie concerts. Have been and will be to countless of them.
Most of the time I'm traveling with my best friend Larissa, which is kind of my (yeah I know this sounds like the dumbest phrase ever, but she really is) sister from another mister. But we're not the girly girls like this phrase might make you think of - no way! I can say that we are really really fun to be around, which can be for example proven by our shared Instagram profile "reinergschaut". On this profile we are doing funny stuff including the old game with "looking in" - don't know if this is the correct translation, but you know the thing where you make a hole with your fingers and get to punch the other person if he or she looks in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

because I want to travel the world and meet interesting open-minded people all around the globe, who can show me different sides of their cities - apart from all the tourist stuff. I prefer smaller, not so crowded, alternative spots to chill and chat with people - and to discover new adventures.
I also do want to show people the awesome city I live in. Augsburg is way cooler and open-minded than Munich , a little bit of Berlin vibes in Bavaria.

Music, Movies, and Books

favorite book atm: Die Zeit, die Zeit- Martin Suter

fav movies: everything from marvel AND dc , especially all kinds of batman-related movies .

I really like savages. and high school musical.

Sherlock stole my heart. (also the elementary sherlock)

I am REALLY REALLY SO MUCH into live music, and have been to countless concerts. I have to go to at least one concert a month, and I'm getting nervous if I don't have any new concert tickets at home. the first places I would travel to with a time machine are concerts of Joy Division, The Doors, Nirvana and Simon&Garfunkel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the greatest goal in my life happened when I first played beer pong. I hit the last cup standing - while making a trick shot and throwing backwards. who can beat this, huh? hehe!

What I Can Share with Hosts

my humor, my books and my enjoyment of life.
I'd also really love to cook you an vegetarian meal and join you for concerts, clubbing, or visiting libraries or stuff.
