Despite facing various serious obstacles in my life, I consider myself to be a positive person who is outgoing, and fun. My friends say I am kind, caring and selfless, which are obtainable qualities, if you have respect for others.
Growing up I was active, and have always been into sports, but as life has kept me busy, I don't get a lot of time for the activities I once enjoyed. This is part of the reason I love to travel. It gives me the freedom and opportunity to have fun and be active.
I also love travelling for; having no expectations, not knowing what's going to happen next, having one thing after the next go wrong, but being able to look back and appreciate that for every negative and hard time on the travels, so many positives will follow, and that's the time the adventure really happened.
I love meeting new people and experiencing other cultures, which is why I'm looking forward to our next trip to the USA in August :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Last year my sister and I travelled Europe and fell in love with Couch Surfing and the knowledge we gained abut the countries we stayed in and the hosts we stayed with. We have an intense desire to learn about the culture and history whenever we visit a new city. We have found that by talking to locals and spending time with them, we have a better experience and leave with a different perspective. This is why Coach Surfing is so appealing to us!

Interests

I enjoy red wine, chocolate, yoga, pilates (bit of a contradiction, but I like balance), and of course meeting new people :)
