About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Lust for life

ABOUT ME

"The wild card, you never know what crazy thing you'll say or do! And, that's pretty cool!"

PHILOSOPHY

I live for the moments that make you feel like a kid again.

Interests

Not only do I thrive on sharing life stories, but it passes the time in a way that not many things can compare to. Aside from that, I live for fresh pow days and dream of being a snowbum again. In between the quest for fresh pow, I fill my time with biking, photography, languages, traveling, writing...

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes to all 3... anywhere in the world, at any time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I carved up fresh pow and was successfully completing the run. I even let out a "whoo-hoo" down the mountain side ... and then I came to a dead halt, right on my face, thanks to a bridge. I just needed to lay there for a minute (or 5) before I got up and felt banged up, but super, super pumped to continue.

When a Dutch friend and I got caught in a storm, we swore would miss us. We took our bikes out for a ride and watched dark storm clouds just sitting in the distance. "Eh, f*ck it, let's keep going" we said. Little did we know not 2 minutes later and we were directly under this storm. I'm not talking little baby rain here, I'm talking what felt like hail hitting us... not to mention you couldn't see anything in front of you. I thought back to a guard shack I had seen earlier and basically thought "every man for himself!" as I hauled ass back to find it. Did I mention I may have been screaming slightly in pain annnnd my bike seat fell, so I looked like a child riding a big girls bike, with my knees just under my chin. By the time I made it, I (gently) tossed my bike aside and just fell down laughing. Don't worry my Dutch friend followed shortly after. We waited out the storm and even took a picture...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm constantly searching for ways to improve my knowledge in new media, traveling, languages, film, radio, photography, vintage bikes, snowboarding, etc.

I enjoy speaking languages, so if you are learning English, French or Spanish and need someone to practice with, I'm you're girl!
