Aloha, fellow bipeds.

What can I say - the name's Bianca, I'm a half American - half Italian born in the US but raised mostly in Italy, if you exclude the pit-stop in Mexico as a kid.

I recently graduated with a Master's degree from London's Central Saint Martins as an animator, and have just finished working on my second feature animated film, and if I'm honest I have no idea how I managed that since my previous BA was in chemistry and physics (and yes, in case that's a tad unclear I mean cartoons - talk about fulfilling a childhood dream!)

It's almost superfluous to say that I love to travel and wish to live in and experience as many countries and people as I can - my next goal is to get a job in Japan and spend some time there, since I absolutely loved in when I went last year.

I consider myself to be open minded (and you can guess who I did not vote for this last American election), love movies, books, anything that's fantasy and sci-fi, cartoons and anime, and really care about the environment.
I'm also a fan of tea, so even if you're my polar opposite but are willing to have a cup with me, I think we most certainly will get along.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My adventure buddy is Cecilia, and we both love traveling and doing non-touristy things - after giving Couchsurfing a go the first time, we realized the reason why everyone loved doing this wasn't because it was a more economic option, but because you get to meet new interesting people, and that is priceless. Now that we've started going on volunteer camps too, we find it hard to go back to standard vacations! We just really love experiencing a country through its people too, so that's why we try our best to go that route.

Let's see -

I can't pick favourite movies (I'd spiral and have a breakdown), so I'll pick the Lion King just to be safe.
Books are the same man, so how about the Game of Thrones series, To kill a Mockingbird, The Count of Montecristo, And then there were none, the Harry Potter series.
My favourite mangas include Monster, Liar Game and Umineko no Naku koro ni.
I play videogames too, and am currently finishing Ocarina of Time.
