CURRENT MISSION
Explore. Dream. Discover. EVERY DAY.
ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm Bianca.
I was born in Adelaide in South Australia and I lead a very nomadic and free lifestyle.
I get excited about taking photos of doors, flowers, the sky... of just about anything; I love jewellery and dressing up, singing loudly with the windows down in the car, learning phrases in other languages and dancing til day break. I am not the girl who eats half a salad at dinner, I love food and lots of it!!
I believe in making the most of each day and making life an adventure. Robotic routine bores me and I try to do something, learn something, see something, hear something or eat something new and different each day.
I am a friendly, open and honest person. I enjoy a good joke and I don't like to take little things too seriously.
I have lived in Adelaide, Cairns, Melbourne and Sydney in Australia and also in Corfu in Greece for a short stint. I'm based in Sydney now, and moved here in 2013 to live with my boyfriend Chris/"Freebs".
PHILOSOPHY
Live your dreams, don't dream your life.
I always keep in mind that whatever decisions we make and actions we take today will be the history of tomorrow; they will be the stories we tell and the memories we keep.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Having travelled on and off since late 2009, I understand what it's like being a traveller. I enjoy understanding a place from a local perspective, and helping others do the same when I host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed in Poland, India, Czech Republic, Croatia, Austria, Philippines, Australia and Turkey. I've hosted in Adelaide and Sydney.

Music - I like alot of music from acoustic to rap, rock, R&B, trap, reggae, drum & bass, some country, some house. I don't enjoy hard trance, heavy dubstep or death metal.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Who could choose just one?
- Volunteering in a children's centre in Thailand, helping to teach English.
- Sleeping under the stars in the desert in India
- World's second tallest bungy jump (Macau, 233metres) - in an amazing coastal setting
- Doing door to door sales in Australia...VERY interesting
- Scuba diving around a WWII shipwreck and seeing a whale shark.
- Going up behind Kuang Si Falls (near Luang Prabang in Laos)... a truly stunning piece of the world.
- Camping in treehouses up to 50m above the ground in the rainforest canopies of Northern Laos.
Teach, Learn, Share
I was very anal with English when I was in Australia and would be able to help teach it if needed. I completed a Teaching English as a Second Language course in May 2011, but after living in Greece for 4 months in 2011 (where the general attitude is very carefree, and there are spelling mistakes EVERYWHERE) I have learned to let the little mistakes slide! If you want me to, I can still correct every little mistake, but I couldn't let it drive me mad for four months!
In 2013 I completed a month long CELTA course for English teaching too.
As far as sharing goes, I am always happy to share a big smile, a story and a chat. I can share my travel stories and tips and my knowledge of the areas in which I have worked - hospitality, marketing, modelling, acting, promotions/events, sales, radio, the hotel industry, media.
I love to learn languages and would also love to learn to play instruments and to surf.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a considerate and tidy guest and love to get to know my hosts. I'm happy to help out with whatever I can and though my cooking isn't of Masterchef standards, I love cooking and can share some of my fave recipes from home and a few that I've picked up from around the globe!
