About Me

So, I am a very communicative person, capable of conversing even on topics I have no idea about. I am interested in everything that catches my attention, and with the right people, I am willing to embark on any adventure.

I am a very organized person who likes to keep things in order and sequence, but if there's a free slot in the calendar, I can also be very spontaneous.

I love my home country and the roots I have there, but I still cherish my freedom to go wherever my heart takes me.

I like having options, but I need to have all the available information about these options to make the right decision.

I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it's taking care of my garden or exploring new places, but I am also a certified couch potato.

I love animals, all of them, even those that would want to eat me. I have a phobia of deep water, which I believe I caused myself by watching every B-rate movie about sea monsters.

I have two dogs. Dante – a pirate Yorkshire senior (a pirate because he only has one eye) and Bobino – a crazy German Shepherd, even though he isn't actually a German Shepherd - this is quite a funny story that I always love to tell, so feel free to ask.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm gearing up for my solo adventure to Scotland—a dream I'm finally making a reality! While my past travels have been more on the vacation side, I'm pumped to break out of that comfort zone, slap on my backpack, and dive into the heart of Scotland. It might sound cheesy, but I've totally fallen for Scotland thanks to books by Diana Gabaldon, Samantha Young, and of course, the wizarding world of Harry Potter (Slytherin pride! :D).
So, here's the scoop: I've spent a lifetime interacting with tourists and travelers—selling city tour bus tickets, working in hostels, even driving a beer bike. You name it, I've probably done it! Through all that, I've learned to chat it up and be friendly with anyone who's down for a chat. Curiosity about the experiences of tourists and travelers visiting Bratislava fueled my interest in exploring the world.

Now, I'm stoked to use this platform to meet new faces and really get to know the places I visit from someone who's lived there. Whether it's tagging along on a mini-adventure with a new buddy or simply enjoying a cozy chat in a coffee shop.

My list of places I want to see has 125 pinpoints all around the country. I am planning to rent a car and just drive, stopping whenever I want without any specific reservations or bookings.

So, it would be nice to meet someone to join me at some of my 125 locations or be able to crash on someone's couch or do some laundry :D
