About Me

"Don't give a shit about what anybody thinks, do what you have to do, for you" (Johnny Depp)
I'm just a woman who thinks that life's too short to waste our time. We have to live in present, because that what's matters, but never forget our past and the lessons we can learn from, 'cause those make us better and we always have to plan our future, because that's life: planning, acting and being happy. I think our acts should be louder than our words and we have to see the world with positive eyes... life is beautiful, we have to take our chances, laugh often and love much. We only live once.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love horror movies and comedies, but basicly I watch everything if it makes me laugh or makes me think about life.
My favourite book is Self-motivation from Frances Coombes, it teaches me every time how to take my chances and how to motivate myself from day to day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thanks to the Resort Leaders (Smaller Earth) I spent the best Summer in the USA in 2015. This company organizes programmes for university and college students, I was with the Work and Travel Programme as a J1 in the states for 3 and a half months. It was the biggest and the best adventure of my life. I was working as a Dining Room Assistant/Busser in the famous OMNI Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. I can't even describe how amazing that place is... breathtaking nature, awesome people, incredible atmosphere, irresistible chance! Despite the fact that - as a journalist - I've never worked in hospitality before, I loved my job in the Main Dining Room of the resort. This was a challenge for me (and I'm pretty sure for everyone...), because - as our organizer at the Resort Leaders said - it "rips you guys out from your comfort zone". Well, she wasn't wrong. I like to try new things and I think all of us (the Europeans I was working with) got use to the circumstances very quickly.
I'm so grateful for this Summer... I've met those amazing people and we became real friends. Can't tell how much I adore all of 'em. I'm going back to the states in December to visit those guys and travel for a couple of days. That describes how much I loved that place... I can't let it go and I won't: I'll go back for next Summer too.
At the end I felt that I belong there... that was "my American dream"...
