About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Improve my Russian. Explore alternative places in cities to go out and hang out.
ABOUT ME
I'm a lively, creative, colourful, curious, and openminded person who likes to get in touch with new people. I like to joke around (also about myself). I have just finished my master in European Studies at Leipzig University. I wrote my thesis about the German Russian twin cities and how they got influenced by international crises like Ukraine crises. I have spend an exchange year in St. Petersburg, which was amazing. In June I will move to Moscow to work for an Urban Think Tank.
PHILOSOPHY
stay curious

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Meeting people, sharing experiences... I haven't been so active for some time but I want to change this now :).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met amazing people during my jurneys and discovered places that I would have never discovered without them =)
One of my best friends here in Slovenia I met via couchsurfing!
Interests
I am one of the organisers of the project "Urban Steps for Resilient Future – Building youth activism in Eastern Europe". The first step of the project will be a training in Istanbul at the end of April. Besides I am learning Russian, enjoy cooking with my flatmates, having good conversations, hang out with my cats, discuss about politics, play improvisational theater, feminist kick boxing, cycle to the Lakes around Leipzig.

Music, Movies, and Books
Hard to tell – it is changing all the time :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My cycling trip from Belgrade to Bucharest. Cycling along the Danube surrounded by hills was so amazing. I felt like I'm cycling trough a book of pictures!
Travelling alone with the transiberian railroads from St. Petersburg to lake Baikal, was a very encouraging experience. I have met so many friendly, welcoming people ready to share with me their story, their food and once their Vodka :).
Teach, Learn, Share
coming from a wine region ... I can do the best wine spritzer in the world (people from other regions claim that we drink it from a flower vase - but that's not exactly the case)
I can teach you how to sneak in a Russian student dorm at 4 o clock in the morning without the grupmpy "babushka" (russian granny) noticing it.
My flat mates claim that I cook the best Russian food in the world (only 1 out of 5 of them has been to Russia before, but there is some truth in that, I guess)
