I really don't like to talk about me... but if I have to describe myself I would say I'm a really outgoing person who likes to meet new people and enjoy life! I love to travel (as you can imagine) and visit new places! I'm very responsible and perfectionist. I like to study (if I have to) but I really like to enjoy my free time! And I like to party... :)

I'm sorry I can't offer a couch right now, but I live with four other people who don't want to be couch surfers right now. However, I'll be glad to meet and show you what I know of Madrid, which I love.

Interests

The thing that really makes my life engaging is traveling. I'm not saying this because this is a traveling site, but because it is what I really adore. I want to go everywhere!!! In fact, I took a year off med school to come to Spain to travel (and do a research project) jeje. I love to meet new people in my travels and I really try to keep in touch!
Also, I love my dogs... they also make my life engaging! I'm an animal lover for sure!
As I said before, I spend my time (this year) doing a research project in Madrid and I travel on the weekends. Two weeks ago I was in Budapest and Vienna and last weekend I was in Las Fallas in Valencia. I also take french and flamenco classes... OLE! Before August, I was in Puerto Rico (where I'm from) studying medicine. I'm currently on my fourth year of medical school. I will return to Puerto Rico in the summer...

Music, Movies, and Books

The last book I read is Shantaram. It is about a New Zealander who escape from prision in Australia and lived 10 years after his escape in Bombay. He lived in a slum, went to war in Afghanistan and worked for the Bombay mafia. Although it is described as fiction, most of its content is true. I loved it and would recommend it!
I love to read, specially in long trips and before going to bed.

I can listen to almost every type of music, except hard rock. And I can listen to electronic music for a while, but after a few hours my head starts to ache!

In terms of movies, I like most of them, except stupid comedies and war movies. Don't get me wrong, I like comedies, I just don't like really stupid ones like those that make fun of other movies...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Bungy Jumping in the third highest Bungy in the world. It was in Queenstown, New Zealand in AJ Hacket Bungy! It was very scary but the feeling was amazing. Although I think I wouldn't do it again... I risked my life enough one time! jeje
2. Skydiving in Sydney, Australia. On this one, I was more scared that with the bungy... because I knew it since the day before. The plane ride was awful, but once you're out of the plane, everything gets better. It's awesome!
I'm really not an adventure girl... although it may seem that way! jeje! I was pretty scared both times, but I loved it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to dance salsa and would love to teach someone. I also know how to scuba dive, but that would be complicated to teach! I am learning french, so I would love to practice it.
