About Me

I always find it kind of difficult to fill sections like that. Generally I like to think of myself as a curious. I enjoy lots of things, starting from books, movies, a drink in a pub (I'm more of a pub than club person :P), board games, jogging, swimming and, above all, having a nice talk with people. I like to learn stuff, both in classroom and in real life. I try to be open for new people and experiences in my life, which is one of the reasons why I love to travel so much. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it gives me a wonderful oportunity to meet people from all over the world. I know it sounds like a cliché, but really - meeting people from other countries/cultures can be such a mind opening experience! I try to learn something from every such meeting - a grasp of culture, language or a glimpse on how people live in other parts of the world. I want to use the CS as not only a mean to travel cheap/low cost, because that can be also achieved in hostels or campings. What is really important to me is to meet with people, perhaps for some international friendships or so on. Generally - it's all about people, not the couches :)

The other reason is to make it easier for fellow travellers to explore the beautiful city of Cracow! :P

Interests

I have a lot of interests, not enough time to pursue all of them though. Apart from the normal, lazy-free-time activity like movies, books and video games, I am really into linguistics - apart from reaching another and another step in my medical education, I study linguistics - as a hobby, as strange as it may seem, at least until I have enough time to do so :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* Swedish family that hosted me and my friends is Stockholm, and their incredible hospitality.

* Piva Canyon in Montenegro

*Venice at 5 o'clock, when there are no other tourists around!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you basics of polish language, tell you something about the history of the country, as well as I'm eager to learn basics of your language and culture :P Also anything you can teach me is welcome!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hmm, I can be creative :P I can:

-Teach you how to swear in polish (I can teach you some poem too if you want! :P)
-Tell stupid jokes :P
-Cook a meal (nothing fancy though, I'm only good at "student cuisine" - edible and economic. However I do can cook pierogi!)
-Tell you about my travels
-Bring you some souvenirs from Poland (but not matrioshkas - these aren't polish!)
-Bring some vodka (If you ask :P)
-Send you a postcard form Poland when I come back (OR multiple postcards)

I'm also open to suggestions :P
