About Me
Hello there Couch surfers,
I am a software developer, based in Ljubljana. I'm interested in physics, astronomy and technology.
In my free time, I like to be surrounded by interesting, intellectual and fun people with a good attitude and energy. I like various occasional activities like playing board games, attending some music events, adventurous travelling, attending mid-intense sports activities like rock-climbing, mountain hiking, cycling, etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first contact with CouchSururfing was back in summer 2010 when I met some CouchSurfers at some concert event in my town (Ljubljana). We had a little chat and a couple of beers. It was really funny to listen to their stories about CS experience so I decided to join CS to search for a couch while I travel or even share mine from time to time and of course to meet new people from around the globe :)
My first guest is an experienced rock climber and he invited me to try climbing so we went to the new climbing centre in Ljubljana and a year later I started to climb more seriously and find it as a great sport.
Interests
If I have enough time I like to go out for a beer or two with my guests to share some stories or even go somehere around Slovenia during weekends.
Durring weekdays I am mostly occupied by my job obligations until evening.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read mostly science books as The universe from nothing by Lowrence Krauss and similar.
Regarding movies... I don't watch many movies lately, I mostly fulfill my free time by watching science, exploration, travel and other funny channels on Youtube.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As a developer I've done many of them :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share some programming knowledge/experiences if anyone interested.
If you would like to learn about some peculiarities and hear some funny stories about Slovenian language I suggest you watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUkkW7cauPE&list=PLHHZ9vBEFJ2XYso4Lf2KLzqufj2WCCYHr&ab_channel=MichaelManske
I'd like to improve my conversation skills in a various foreign language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a small flat (about 40 m^2 and terrace) so I can offer a overnight stay for up to two people on a couch and maybe up to two more on an extra mattress on the floor (in case there are more of you at the same time).
There is WiFi available, smoking is possible only on the terrace.
There is also a cat present in the flat.
I am still renovating the flat part to part and therefore bathroom is not yet in a perfect condition but good enough until I earn enough to start renovating it.
