~Back in the US now. Hopefully, I can meet and connect with other couchsurfers here.

~Haitian/American, I just graduated with a MsC in finance. I am looking to travel a bit more before I head back to the workforce.

~I don't like planning things much. Most of the time, I go to the airport and buy myself a one way ticket to any location that sparks my interests at that moment. That makes it harder to get a host.

~I can afford logement, I am doing this mainly to make friends in different parts of the world. I am not here looking for sex or a relationship. aside from that, I am talkative, easy going, and I think social hosts.

~Unlike popular beliefs I do not get many offers from hosts. I was told that some hosts think that I seem to be the kind of person who would get bombarded with offers. Personally, I do not send out more than 4 requests per cities either. I am not sure why. I read thoroughly the profiles of everyone I interact with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel rather often, I meet people but most of the times they're not locals and don't maintain contacts. Hence, not too long ago, a friend recommended this app as a way to make more substantial connections with locals in places that I travel to.
Unfortunately, I often travel in short notice which makes it rather very difficult to find (real) hosts.
