About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To follow the music! It's everywhere!

ABOUT ME

I enjoy putting myself into new situations that are new and different. I am learning what fear means to me and how to move that energy so that it is no longer a part of my life. A lot easier said than done!
I like the feeling of smiling from the inside out.
I make music with drums, pots and pans, bellies and hands, and whetever else is around.

PHILOSOPHY

Just listen. Then feel. Then think.
And when that fails, jump in a cold ocean.

Interests

I really enjoy operating is spaces that are free from societal pressures and expectations. Access to information and a free-flowing and sharing of ideas are very important tenants of my happiness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After working a really long, arduous salmon season in Alaska, some friends and I drove a mini-van around the state. One night we pulled into the Homer Spit in Homer, Alaska. It was late and dark. We found a little spot on the beach and set up our tarps to sleep on. The next morning I was the first one up and I realized we had fallen asleep in the most beautiful place on Earth. The Homer spit is long and narrow and the bay that morning was glassy still and clear. Across the water were big, robust glaciers making their slow, million year decent into the bay. I felt at home there.
