ABOUT ME

Here's just a snippet of me:
I adore travel - learning, exploring, absorbing. Have done so since I was only 2, and still to this day the lovely aroma of jet fuel makes me nostalgic!
I have 4 siblings, 2 nephews, and at one stage enjoyed the company of 11 dogs (we had two litters of puppies!).
I've been wishing for so long that I could hop on a plane to go to the other side of the world, but didn't think it was financially possible until I finished studying (which is waaay too long a time to wait)... Long story short, I reacted on impulse and figured I should just make it happen! Now!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe everybody should travel and experience other cultures as a part of their compulsory education...

Interests

Virtually everything and anything, as I dislike the thought of putting limitations on myself! Conversations with me can be inclusive of; guiltily confessing my addiction to shoes, reminiscing about camping in the desert in Saudi Arabia, laughing at the thought of a 'flux capacitor,' philosophising about the Cardassians (Sorry, Star Trek reference), defending my longtime love affair with encyclopedias and unhealthy obsession with spelling/grammar, and enforcing the need for tequila shots and crazy dancing to be included in a big night out!
All of this may lend some insight as to why 6 years ago I started studying physics/maths, and am now studying politics/history/philosophy... Some people call it fickle, but I like to consider myself 'well-rounded.' hehe! Now if only I could stay focussed for long enough to finish a degree!
