About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi Guys, I'm Marcel and I'm really traveladdicted. Therefore I decided 2017 to take a break in my 9to5-working life. And 9to5 was best case! ;) So I was traveling 18 months through Asia and Africa and now I am back in Germany, but still looking for new adventures.

I'm absolutely easy going and openminded character, but of course you should find it out by yourself. That will be more "real" than just to talk about personal characteristics I think. :D

PHILOSOPHY

Reisen ist die gesündeste Sucht - Travel is the healthiest addiction

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why couchsurfing?

Until now I have less couchsurfing experience. I used couchsurfing just for some short trips, but I was fascinated how openminded, helpful, selfless all the people I met were.

Now I want to change that. Ithink couchsurfing is the best way to get in contact to locals and to profit from cultural expert knowledge, a normal "package tourist" never will get.

Now I get the opportunities of learning a lot about people around the world and I'm sure that this knowledge and experience will influence our personality enormously in a positive and sustainable way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have made a lot of unforgettable Experiences during our trips. I just can speak for me, but one of the most special experiences was a trip through Morocco with another buddy. We came on our way to Meknes into conversation with a young english speaking girl and her mother. We ask them where in Meknes we can find some cheap accommodiations for some nights. The girl don`t answer our question, but she take the mobile, call her father and after the call she told us, if we want, we could stay at their home. They absolutely don`t know us and offer us to stay at their home. So crazy and amazing. We had 2 really great days in a muslims house and get a lot new impressions of the normal life in Morocco. THAT is one the reasons why traveling is one of the most valueable things you can do.

That is just one short story. I could tell much more of such storys, but that would be to much text for writing here. ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share our experiences of traveling the world, I also can share german culture, I can share my hand if you have something to do... and for the crazy ones I can share knowledge about german taxes- :D
