About Me

I'm 19, currently a year 1 medical student in Taiwan. I pursued my childhood dream and studied abroad in HK last year, but for some reasons, I decided to quit U and try out a different path back at home. Though not that adventurous back here in Taiwan, but I'm gradually loving the vibe here and is searching for opportunities to live a unique life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Personally, I love traveling a lot, of course thank to my parents who are willing to invest in me to see the world. I tried my first time to backpack alone in HK at the age of 15, when I started to love living in hostels. I really enjoy meeting more friends, listen to more life stories, and experience the unexpected.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a Canadian-based TV series called "Departure" super much. It's about two guys (actually three including the photographer) spending three years traveling around the world in a very unique way. They get to see the real, authentic culture of different places through being toured by many of their local friends. They even enjoyed some traditional celebrations in Jordan, in Papua New Guinea with the local tribes. That is the exact way I'd like to travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From Sep 2016 to June 2017, I spent a fantastic year studying business in HKUST. There, I get to meet friends from all over the world, i.e. mainland students who strive for their career, local students who passionately introduce me the sport rowing which I miss so fucking much, and of course, many talented Taiwanese students who are merging into HK life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My traveling experience and my year as an international student in HK. My entire semester trying out a new sport rowing, which means almost 10 hrs of training in Shing Mun River five days a week.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cambodia, China, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
