ABOUT ME

I have grown up near Queenstown (in the South Island) and know the area well, my family still live there and I head home a few times a year. Went to boarding school in Dunedin, then university to study civil engineering up in Christchurch.

For fun I play competitive rugby from February through to August, and support my home team the Otago Highlanders. On the weekends I like to get out hunting for deer, scuba diving for crayfish and a bit of fishing. I am currently completing my PADI Instructors course so I can travel and live the dream for a few years. We also manage to get in a fair bit of socialising on Friday/Saturday nights and enjoy the Auckland night life...

PHILOSOPHY

Work hard, play hard. Get out there and bite off more that you can chew! After all, a long journey/mad adventure is just an accumulation of small steps.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently hosting a few couch surfers, and looking to make use of some contacts I have made when I go travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosting couch surfers for a few years now while at university and when living up in Auckland. It has always been a great experience!
