ABOUT ME

I am most happy in the woods or in another outdoor venue. I love to bike, swim, hike, backpack, row, cook, and eat. I am a teacher by profession, i prefer to teach math or French. I'm currently teaching math in California. I like to meet new people while i travel, and cook a meal with them, or simply share a cold one. I find seeing a new city through the eyes of a local is always more satisfying than just being a tourist. Couchsurfing appeals to me because of this! My friends say i am easy-going, good at listening, and like to have fun!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do my best to meet fellow CS and offer them a place to stay if i can! If not, i can always meet them for a drink or share my favorite local spots.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When i was living at my brother's house we hosted Jim and Zoe, a neat couple that was CSing across the US. We had a nice home cooked meal together and later went out for drinks. It was a great time, and i was glad we could help Zoe and Jim on their journey!

兴趣

I'm the happiest outside, with the sky over me and my two feet under me. I love teaching because i can bring joy and knowledge to others, while keeping myself guessing. I try to spend my time eating, working out, and reading a good book. Traveling is also super fun! As is drinking local beer and seeing local spots!

I like a ton of different types of music. Anything you can relax, party, drive, or workout too!! Some of my current obsessions are oOoOO, Chromatics, Local Natives, Florence and the Machine, Radiohead, Lil Wayne, Sleighbells, and Led Zeppiln.

Fight Club, Stranger than Fiction, and A History of Violence are three movies i watched recently that i liked!

I can circular breath, and play the Dijeridu! I love talking about math, algebra II is my favorite! I am also mostly fluent in French and would love to practice!
