ABOUT ME

I have grown up in a small village near Pforzheim, where I still appreciate the fields, the forest and the forest tracks. For me, this place is just unique as I feel like knowing every tree and every blade of grass and as I know my ancestors having strolling on the same paths.
Nevertheless, I left my hometown after finishing school, I studied one semester of macroeconomics in Mannheim, abandonned it, studied one semester of theology in Freiburg, abandonned it and, finally, started to study medicine while staying in Freiburg. I regard the two semesters of macroeconomics and theology not as being lost time at all, but as time that widened my horizont, that brought me in contact with brilliant persons and that made me finding my own way. The last year, I spent in Lausanne in order be "Erasmus exchange student". If one says that such guys only do partying, he is definitely erring. There are much greater ways to use the available time in addition to that: to go hiking, to spent the weekends in alpine huts, to go skiing, to climb, to travel, to spent time with great people and to be aware of the unique possibilities.

Take it easy! You cannot plan everything, enjoy relying on a positive issue!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sharing the interest of being curious - curious towards the world and its different people - and allow free play to this curiosity is the fundament of couchsurfing for me. Until now, I benefitted predominantly from the support or hosting of some couchsurfers and their effort. As I can only offer you to share my room with me, it sounds not such a great offer as I would like it to be. But if you want to spend a day with climbing, mountainbiking or whatever I gladly will support you.- Just let me know!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Overall great!!! I got to know great, open-minded people and met close friends on places I would probably have been lost...

Centres d'intérêt

SPORTS!!! ;-) Biking, running, climbing, swimming, hiking and skiing, whatever - either I am exercising it or I am keen on trying it out!
Beside that, I also like to drink cups of coffee, to taste the different flavours of coffee, to read books, to discuss about politics, philosophy and the world in general or just to satisfy my hunger with delicious dishes.
