ABOUT ME

I'm passionate and thoughtful, with a wide, shallow pool of knowledge. I love music and politics, food and drink, the outdoors, the indoors, and doorways. I'm excited about growing wine from the granite and clay of our mountain vineyard, about taking the magic and beauty of this place and bottling it. This is my life's work. For now.
I have two daughters and a wife, who mean almost everything to me. They live in San Antonio, so I split my time between there and Fort Davis, often taking the Amtrak back and forth.
UPDATE: I finally got decent data service out here, so I will be more likely to get your requests before you're long gone. This has been a problem in the past.
