About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to stay in one place for a while. It has been a long time since I just stayed still!
ABOUT ME
I have done alot of travel in my time, and often accepted peoples help along the way; so i would like the chance to do the same for someone.
I worked for a long time as a European tour manager, taking coach tours during the summer. This meant that I could go off and travel by my self during the winter, so I have racked up a fair few countries now.
I got to the point where I realised I was always travelling to avoid stopping, so I stopped.
I now study the effect of rainforest clearing on the Kinabatangan river in Borneo, but I do it from the comfort of Cardiff.
I have lots of stories, and am always keen to listen to other peoples, so if you are making your way through Cardiff, drop me a line and I'd be happy to meet up.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't talk about philosophy any more. It always comes down to semantics, and you only ever talk at cross purposes anyway. I try to live by it, rather than talk about it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I am living in a house that has a rather uninviting sofa. Its a two seater made from plether. If you are desperate, then it is all yours...but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.
If you really are up the creek and in need of a place to stay, I do have a massive (it really is very wide) bed, and a sleeping bag which you are welcome to share (the bed that is, you get your own sleeping bag).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have accepted the hospitality of a few beautiful strangers, and played host to a few as well. In every single instance the experience has been a positive one. I've always come away from it feeling better for having done it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I dont want to give away my good stories, they took a long time to collect.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to think that i have a thing or two to teach. I have helped a few people in my time, but more through kindness than knowledge.
