ABOUT ME

I'm a 23 year old guy from Oslo, Norway.
So far, my life has consisted of work, work and more work. I achieved a nice position in a real estate agency here in oslo, only to realize it wasnt what I wanted. So I quit, found a new job, which I could leave together with the car keys on the way home. Now I spend my spare time planning/dreaming of other countries, with other systems, cultures and so on :) I enjoy meeting people, talking about everything and nothing. My hobbies are music and computers.
I'm 190cm tall, bald and bearded.

PHILOSOPHY

My life so far has been quite boring. I jumped too quickly into adulthood, with careerplans, my own appartment etc etc. But then I stopped and realized that I need to be young and free for just another year or so, before I commit myself to work for the rest of my life.
I've got several years of profitable boredom supressed in me, and I need to get out, let myself loose and live without worries for some time :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet people from distant countries, to share wisdom and knowledge about the places we know. I'll give you a tour of oslo and a nice couch, in exchange for a good talk, a partner to share a few beers and a tour of oslo with :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I must admit that I havent had much experience with couchsurfing. I've been renting out my spare bedrom to random students for longer periods, but thats the closest. I hope people will request a night or two on my couch, so that I can contribute before I leave on my own adventures in january 2010.

Interests

Music, movies and computers are my general hobbies. Apart from that, I love to meet people, socialize and be happy! I can take interest in everything, as long as I've got someone to discuss it with ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I love it all, as long as its good. I can enjoy everything from Opera to Norwegian Death Metal. Trance, House, Club, Electronica, HipHop, Latin, Rock, Metal etc etc. The list goes on forever. It all depends on the mood and situation really.
When it comes to books, I mostly read history related drama/novels, or crime/thriller etc. Mostly mainstream books, with a few exceptions :)
My movie taste is like my music taste. It all depends on the situation, mood and current company :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing experience I've had, was quitting my quite good position as project manager. It burned me out totally, stripped me of all my energy and so on. I then took a totally uncomplicated position as Gardener in the Viegelandspark in Oslo. The people I got to know with there, the new way I looked at life and so on, really changed me in a (at least It feels like it) amazing way.

I can teach you how to get around oslo, I can show you Viegelandsparken in detail, I can probably fix your computer and show you some wicked spotify playlists ;)
I'd love to learn about the places you've been, the people you've met, and hear all the crazy stories of situations you've been in!
