About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get better!!

ABOUT ME

I've been accused of marching to my own drummer and being a rebel at times. One friend told me that I only follow the rules that I think are important..hahaha. So true! Honestly... I think this world is an amazing opportunity to live and experience things. I usually enjoy the differences between people and can find something worth liking about ALMOST everyone. I like people who are real..THINGS don't impress me, people and relationships are where it's at.

PHILOSOPHY

Tread lightly but leave a lasting impression wherever you go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far mostly just hosting travelers along their way. I enjoy meeting other free-spirited, adventurous human beings who feel the need to enjoy new experiences and new people. I've met some great people so far. I especially enjoy the "randomness" of couchsurfing. i.e. meeting and befriending people whose path you would otherwise never would of crossed!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

lived on a couch for a few months when I was getting divorced..(smile) other than that have mostly been in the "hosting" mode. Looking forward to doing more traveling in the near future!

Interests

I love the water (fresh or salty). Love the mountains. Love the woods. Love the Desert (for short periods...maybe w/a pool to look forward to)... LOVE music, thick and tasty beer, Red wine, good food, exercising till my body hurts, people that can laugh at themselves, a good challenge, a good book, my kids, my family, my friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

Tom Robbins..if he wrote it, I've read it. My favorite of his is probably another roadside attraction. I usually like poking my nose into a good John Irving novel as well.
Music...I couldn't even narrow it down (depends on the day). As for movies..Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Dances w/wolves, Resevoir dogs, Tommy boy, Shawshank redemption, King Pin, The Last Of The Mohicans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking the Sierra Nevada's above Lake Tahoe, road tripping through Montana and Idaho w/my dog and hiking/mountain biking different areas. Spending a week boating in the Apostle Islands. Traveling out west w/my kids when they were little (hitting up The Black Hills, Yellowstone National Park, Glacier, etc.. Watching the Northern Lights from a beach along Lake Superior. The list goes on and I plan to continue adding to it!!
