About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find the perfect mission

ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old Kiwi living in Sydney, studying at the University of New South Wales. I enjoy travelling, exploring and adventuring and always make an effort to learn the local language as it opens a world of experiences and opportunities.

PHILOSOPHY

If you will it, it is no dream.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I don't have a Couch available (hopefully this will change soon!) but I am more than happy to meet people and show them around town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed in New Zealand, Canada, USA, Thailand and Laos. I have had the most amazing experiences and met the most amazing people - all of whom have been so lovely and helpful! The best part of CS is the opportunity to meet locals and gain an insight into each location from those who know it best

Interests

Travelling of course!
Love playing and following sports - football, rugby, rugby league, tennis, hockey - pretty much anything.
Playing guitar
Playing board games - Articulate, Pictionary, Risk, Monopoly, Bananagrams and Balderdash to name a few...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I enjoy drama, comedy and thrillers. Anything from American Beauty and The Departed, to American Pie, Crash and Panic Room.
Music: I love indie/alternative music, a bit of the mainstream for good measure. Personal favourites include Death Cab for Cutie, Augustana, Coldplay, Goldfish and The Barefoot Truth.
My favourite books are political science/economics e.g. Confessions of an Economic Hitman, Freakonomics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping on the Sea of Galilee, Israel

Road-tripping across the East Coast, USA

Watching English Premier League matches throughout London, UK

Thai Cooking Course, Chiang Mai, Thailand

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning from people with different backgrounds and perspectives from my own. I particularly am interested in learning about people's political and economic outlooks and the reasons behind them.
I am more than happy to share my experiences of the countries I have lived in.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, Fiji, Israel, Laos, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
