ABOUT ME

After being a pessimist for so long, I now want to be the complete opposite. I love challenging myself to keep positivity alive! I believe that if everyone contributed something to this form of lifestyle we'd all be much happier (no stinkers!). So yes, give me a challenge and I'll try my best to beat it. I'm a very laid back person who LOVES to converse while listening to music (bird song definitely counts). I have yet to meet someone I completely don't enjoy talking to. Love to move around - I can't stand to be still (this explains my obsession with running). Creativity is what makes my legs move and heart beat and I can get lost in any kind of art.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to absorb as much of the world as possible. When you don't take the time to fully absorb all that is going on around you, you're losing your consciousness with the world! The world is waiting - waiting for you to devour it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just started my Couch Surfing experience and I my goal is to help make the world smaller. I want to make as many connections as possible to share all the stories.

Interests

Humans in general, linguistics, studying culture and language, SPORTS, marathon running, singing, jamming with whoever wants to jam, painting, decorating, writing (non-fiction and fiction typically - but poems are not rare and neither is a rap or two), photography, self-expression, animals, fast cars that I can't afford do not really want to obtain, books of all sorts, dancing, acting, architecture, hearing stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

El Orfanato, King Kong, Love Actually, Trois Couleurs: Bleu, También la Lluvia, Slumdog Millionaire, Lord of the Rings, Shower muchísimas! I love chick-flicks (I cannot lie) but I also really love action movies and comedies. I really like dramas as well, I love to cry.

Music - I can't list - I literally listen to everything (except Tim McGraw and other popular country singers, but some country is quite nice)

Mountains Beyond Mountains, Things Fall Apart, Lord of the Flies, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, the Fountain Head, anything by Roald Dahl, The Green Mile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This may be very weak compared to the truly amazing stories, be ready. I witnessed waves that were over 25 feet high crash into each other and break against cliffs. The sensation I got from this form of nature was incredible.
