About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make the World seem a little bit smaller, one day at a time...
ABOUT ME
I love talking and hearing about new cultures, new places, new perspectives on life.
I hope to work in Development in the Global South / Developing World.
I'm into learning new languages and sharing my love of music as I think they are the best way to begin to understand someone else's culture.
I think I am pretty open-minded and easy to get along with, although I guess that's for you to decide! :)
PHILOSOPHY
There are two sides to every coin.
Every new person I meet brings their own perspective on life and, potentially, a new pair glasses to view it through.
You can't always believe your eyes. Dig a little deeper.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to CouchSurfing but I hope/plan to become an active member, both surfing and hosting. After hearing about it a couple of years ago, I wisk I'd gotten involved sooner. Better late than never!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've completed my maiden CS trip hitchhiking across Southern Turkey a year ago...
Special thanks to Hasan, Guner, Mesut, Halil and friends, Devon and friends, Mucahit and Huseyin -- and everyone else who lent a helping hand along the way -- for making it so memorable!
To Chris, Maresz, and Mirka... ...we'll always have Anadolu! ;)

At the moment (and in a state of constant flux):
Music from all over the world, language learning, Photography (Digital and Lomo), Film (all sorts but I love foreign language film), discussion/debate, eating/cooking, travelling, football, most other sport, philosophy, politics, theology and the nature of belief, spiritualism...
