About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Oh boy! its time to revamp my CS Info!
So lets start with the basics, right?
I was born, raised, and currently live in New Jersey. Working my but off as a computer geek for the past ten years or so.
I'm now a volunteer firefighter, EMT, Public Safety scuba diver, Etc. I am also an emt for Mountain Creek ski resort
Super easy going person who just loves to go with it as much as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

Well i am pretty go with the flow with most if not all of life. Pick the direction lets start walking, ask that question of "would you like to, what about this" and i will most likely say lets go for it.
Fairly open to all ideas

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still a baby when it comes to all of this, I also havnt traveled enough to really experience CS as a whole yet.
A few events and one awesome surf in Aruba!
I cannot wait for more!!

Interests

Riding my motorcycle around for some nice quiet time.
Scuba diving is wonderful but expensive, living in NJ there are not many places to go. :/
Being a volunteer with my fire department.
Skydiving, however this is also expensive.
Traveling on the cheap, such as Israel for $350.

Music, Movies, and Books

Action, comedy, scifi.
Im a fan of the star wars series, star trek movies, jackass series, but my favorite stuff is actually anime.
Animes like mobile suit gundam and ugly Americans. Shows i cant stand are reality, romance, mtv crap.
But in all honesty i do not watch or keep up with allot of the lime light.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my first calls on my rescue squad was called out as a diabetic seizure. We arrived to find the gentleman in cardiac arrest, Begin CPR and start to diagnose him. His lungs were full of fluid and suction was not working. Stomach bloated and as i preformed CPR i cracked one of his ribs "normal.
Medics arrived and began IV and drug dosages. Ill never forget, you could see it in his eyes that he was not returning. Preforming CPR untill we hit the ER doors we rushed him into the cardiac room. Handed him to the nurses and began to clean up...
A few minutes later The doctors and nurses began to leave the room, it was over. Like a photo i can recall his eyes, something i will never forget. My only thoughts were clear, How can i help others, how can i become better. From start to finish i remained calm and did what i was trained. Even though there was nothing more we could do for this man.

Yet where there is death, there is also life.
Not long after i was the first on scene to an unresponsive young women. She quickly stopped breathing and her pulse faded. I and another member began CPR as other members arrived along with our Rig "ambulance" and the ParaMedics. we managed a pulse and she began to breath again. Medics administered a narcotic inhibitor, BANG she came right back to life ina panic. She had Over dosed on heroin. I was apart of saving her life, not just there helping but my hands pumped life into her heart.
As a volunteer, life and death go hand in hand every time my pager goes off. It may be as simple as a person not feeling well or a head on collision with multiple injuries.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, the only skill i can really offer at this point is computer skills. I have worked in IT for about 10 years now, so i can teach some computer related skills to others. I hope to expand this! ^_^

Some things id like to learn...
well another language would be really interesting.
Sounds pretty general but i guess its the entire experience. i want to learn everything i can from my travels!

Countries I’ve Visited
