I am a teacher and living in the south of Taiwan. I had my PhD degree in the USA. Right now I am living with my husband and a daughter, and are doing homeschooling. Three of us can speak Chinese and English. My daughter is also learning Japanese and Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My daughter is toward her 12 years old. I hope she can have the chance to know more people from different countries and so have a world view. On couchsurfing might be the way to achieve my goal.

I like movies and books, but not very good in music. However my husband and daughter are both good in music so I can just enjoy it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Do homeschooling. Having the different perspectives on education and motherhood is such a valuable experience for me.

I am expert in education (having a PhD degree), so I can share what I know about Taiwan's educational system, and what I experience of homeschooling. In addition, I have involved in the concept of life education that will be a good topic for learning and sharing from each other.
