ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm a young troubadour from france who would be glad to host random people from everywhere. Because all you need is a place to sleep and something to eat

[The following text is a kind of short story of my life. It's quite boring. But if you really don't know what to do, or if you wanna know me better, you can read it if you want, even though I don't recommand it to you.]

I grew up in a small village with 200 habitants, stuck in between two montains, in a remote part of french Alps. Saint Veran is "famous" to be the highest town in europe,although nobody has ever heard of itexcept maybe the writers of the guiness book of world records, a few tourists, alpinists, and the Natives themselves (whose ones remain highly proud of that fact)So I grew up there, in my parent's inn. As flat soccer stadiums are inexistant in such a place, Most of my hobbies were skiing, walking in the mountains, getting drunk in the town's only pub and playing the accordion.One day I decided I wanted to discover what was at the bottom of the mountains. So when I turned 18 I grabed a backpack, my accordion, and started traveling. I went through different places, working, busking, hitch hiking, I discovered how the world was like, met many diferent people, and finally,after two years I have come back to france to start journalism studies in Avignon.Indeed, I think I have found a vocation, while I was travelling I really enjoyed writing (Music and writing are my two main ways of expressing myself)That's why I think it's something that would fit me. But all the time, I feel the call from horizon and I want to keep on traveling. It's so frustrating to make that choice. that's one of the reasons why I register here, I would really enjoy to host people from all the world to keep my mind fed of cultural diversity. And don't worry if you come from france, you're welcome as well of course ;) Diversity is not even a question of borders...

PHILOSOPHY

I'm convinced that staying, or even better, living in another country for a while, getting to understand and integrate this different culture is the best thing you could ever possibly do to try to understand the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was traveling, I have been often offered accomodation from people I just met, hitch-hiking, on a bus, in the street... Some of them where registered on the couchsurfing website, some others where not. Anyway, I've always been very grateful, I got so much things from these people without them asking anything back...So now I want to give back all the good things I have been given, to keep it going. Maybe if I was a boudhist I would say it's to equilibrate my Karma...

Music: Anything that is good,I can go from old school rock, classical, reggae, jazz, metal, hiphop,folk, ska, slam, world music (my favorites being klesmer, balkans, eastern europe, gipsy jazz, and south american music)
However, if I had to choose between all wich artist make me feel the most emotions with he's music, I would really hesitate between Pink Floyd and Vivaldi.
